By submitting a device for repair, the customer agrees to the terms described below.
1. Repair Diagnosis
All devices submitted for repair may undergo an initial diagnostic inspection to determine the fault.
In some cases:
- Additional issues may be discovered during diagnosis.
- Customers will be informed if further repairs are required.
No additional work will be carried out without customer approval.
2. Repair Quotes
Quotes provided online, over the phone, or in person are estimates only.
Final repair pricing may change depending on:
- Internal device condition
- Additional faults discovered during testing
- Parts availability
Customers will always be informed before any additional repairs are performed.
3. Data Responsibility
Customers are strongly advised to back up all data before submitting a device for repair.
While GadgetBox takes reasonable care during repairs, we do not accept responsibility for any loss of data, including but not limited to:
- Photos
- Contacts
- Applications
- Files or documents
Repair processes may sometimes require resetting or restoring the device.
4. Replacement Parts
Repairs may be completed using:
- Genuine manufacturer parts, or
- High-quality OEM compatible parts
Part availability may vary depending on the device model and market conditions.
5. Repair Time
Many repairs are completed the same day, however repair time may vary depending on:
- The complexity of the repair
- Parts availability
- Diagnostic requirements
Estimated repair times are not guaranteed.
6. Warranty Coverage
GadgetBox provides the following warranty on repair services.
Warranty Terms:
We provide a 180-day in-store warranty on all repairs from the repair date, covering only the specific parts replaced and the service provided.
The warranty does not cover unrelated faults or components that were not repaired or replaced.
7. Warranty Limitations
The warranty will become void if any of the following conditions are observed after the repair:
- Physical damage to the device
- Liquid or water damage
- Device tampering or repair attempts by another technician
- Damage caused by misuse or accidents
- Damage unrelated to the original repair
Warranty claims may require device inspection before approval.
8. Pre-Existing Conditions
Some devices may already have underlying issues such as:
- Motherboard damage
- Previous improper repairs
- Internal component faults
In such cases, repair attempts may not fully restore device functionality.
GadgetBox will not be held responsible for faults related to pre-existing internal damage.
9. Devices That Cannot Be Repaired
If a device cannot be repaired after diagnostic testing:
- The customer will be informed
- The device will be returned in its current condition
No repair charge will apply unless diagnostic services were specifically requested.
10. Uncollected Devices
Customers are requested to collect repaired devices within a reasonable time after notification.
Devices that remain uncollected for more than 60 days may be disposed of or recycled to recover repair or storage costs.
11. Limitation of Liability
GadgetBox shall not be liable for:
- Loss of data
- Loss of business or income
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Pre-existing faults discovered during repair
Our liability is limited to the cost of the repair service performed.
12. Agreement to Terms
By submitting a device for repair at GadgetBox, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted these Repair Service Terms and Warranty Policy.
